Websites for artists · New Bern, North Carolina

Your paintings deserve
better than a contact form.

Most artist websites show the work beautifully and then ask the buyer to fill in a form and wait. Every sale ends up depending on somebody being patient. We build the other kind — where a card, a print or an original is bought in one click, and the money goes straight to you.

The problem

Painters have the hardest job online

A photograph of a painting loses its scale, its texture and its true color. So an artist's site has to work twice as hard as anyone else's — and most of them are not even doing the easy part.

Nobody can buy anything

Prices on the page, no checkout anywhere. The visitor has to email and wait, and most of them simply do not.

The town is never named

Google cannot show an artist to somebody searching "art near me" if the website never says where the studio is. This is the most common miss we find, by far.

The pictures are invisible

Search engines cannot see a painting — they read the description attached to it. On most artist sites, most images have none.

Prints are left on the table

An original sells once. A print sells the same painting for years, and cards sell it every week — but only if there is somewhere to buy them.

What we build

A gallery, a shop and a story — in one place

What it costs

A look at your site

Free

We run your website the way Google reads it and tell you exactly what is working and what is costing you. Yours to keep. Take it to anybody you like.

The written diagnostic

$197

Everything broken, everything missing, and what to fix first — in order, in plain English. Comes off your first month if you go ahead.

Built & looked after

$50 / month

Site built, hosted, secured and maintained. New work added, sold work marked. A minimum, not a cap.

Plus a share of sales

15%

Only on what the website sells. Nothing on work you sell in person, at a show, or through a gallery. A gallery takes 40–50%.

"We would rather be paid out of what you sell than what you owe. If the site never sells anything, that is our risk — not yours." David Hahn · Hahn Technologies Corp
Us, honestly

Who owns your domainYou do — in your name, transferable at any time, at cost. Nothing is ever held hostage.
Who holds your moneyYou do. The checkout pays into your account. We invoice; we never deduct.
What we promiseThat everything we find gets fixed, and somebody is watching so it never quietly stops working.
What we will not promiseA number of sales, an amount of traffic, or the top spot on Google. Nobody can promise those honestly.

Jean Richards — jeanrichardsart.com

Painting since 1998. Her old site showed a dozen paintings with prices on them and no way to buy any of them. It never once mentioned New Bern, so nobody searching locally could find her. Two of six pictures had descriptions, so the rest were invisible to Google.

She now has a gallery sorted into collections, hand-finished cards and prints with a real checkout, a workshops section for the teaching she actually wants to do, and her whole life written down — Wyoming in 1957 through to New Bern today.

"An expert once told me I had done all the work and now needed a marketing manager. You are probably the first one that's qualified."— Jean Richards

We will look at it properly and write back with what we find — free, no obligation, and useful even if you never hire us. If you do not have a site yet, say so; that is an easier conversation, not a harder one.
