Plain English, no traps. These terms cover working with us and using this website.

Who we are

Hahn Technologies Corp is a North Carolina corporation based in New Bern. We build websites, set up payments and point-of-sale systems, help with local search and reviews, and advise on practical uses of AI for small businesses.

Quotes and payment

• We agree the price before we start. If the job changes, we tell you what it will cost before we do the extra work.
• Invoices are due when stated on the invoice. If something is tight, talk to us — we would rather arrange a schedule than chase you.
• Recurring services continue month to month until you tell us to stop.

What we need from you

Timely answers, the content and access we ask for, and honest information about your business. Most delays come from waiting on materials, not from the build.

Who owns the work

You do. Once your work is paid for, the site, the content, and the domain are yours to keep, move, or hand to someone else. We do not hold your domain, your accounts, or your data hostage. We keep the right to mention that we built it and to reuse general techniques and non-client-specific code we developed.

Cancelling

You can stop a recurring service at any time; it ends at the close of the period you have already paid for. For project work, you pay for what has been completed to that point, and we hand over what has been built.

What we do not promise

We will not pretend to control things nobody controls:

• No guaranteed search rankings. Google decides rankings, not us. Good work makes you far easier to find, and it compounds over time, but anyone guaranteeing a position is selling you something.
• No guaranteed revenue. We can build the storefront and the funnel. We cannot promise what customers will do.
• Third-party services can change. Hosting, payment processors, Google, and social platforms set their own rules and can change them without notice. We will help you adapt, but we do not control them.
• We are not your attorney, accountant, or tax adviser. We will tell you plainly when something needs a professional, and we will help you get to one.

Your responsibilities

You confirm that the content you give us is yours to use, and that your business is operating lawfully. We do not build or maintain sites for illegal activity, and we may decline or stop work that would put a payment processor, a platform, or either of us at risk.

Limits

We stand behind our work and we will fix what we get wrong. But to the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim connected to our services is limited to the amount you paid us for the work in question, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses such as lost profits.

Using this website

The text, design, and images on this site belong to us unless marked otherwise. You are welcome to read, print, and share pages. Please do not copy the site wholesale or present our work as your own.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, and any dispute belongs in the state or federal courts serving Craven County, North Carolina. If a disagreement comes up, we would much rather talk it through first — call us.

Changes

If we update these terms, we will change the date at the top. Work already agreed runs under the terms in place when we agreed it.
